Meet Lilly
My journey into counselling and psychotherapy was shaped by both a deep interest in supporting others and my own experience of therapy.
Having engaged in different forms of therapy over the years, I’ve experienced how it can teach, heal, and bring greater self-understanding. This personal insight continues to inform and deepen my work with clients.
Outside of the therapy room, I value creativity and connection. With a background in art, I’m drawn to painting and writing as ways of expressing and making sense of my inner world. This naturally informs my work, where I support clients in exploring and expressing their own thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Experience
I hold an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Leeds and am a registered member of the BACP. I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly undertake CPD to keep my skills and knowledge up to date, believing there is always room for growth and learning.
I have previously worked as a counsellor at TalkThru, supporting individuals affected by baby loss and pregnancy-related experiences, and at RASAC, where I worked with clients aged 13+ as a domestic and sexual abuse counsellor. Prior to this, I worked within charities supporting people who were homeless or at risk of homelessness. Together, these roles have given me extensive experience working with a wide range of life experiences, offering both short- and long-term support, and working in a trauma-informed way.
Alongside this, I have supported individuals experiencing stress, overwhelm, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. A common thread in my work is exploring the relationship people have with themselves, supporting clients to build self-awareness, confidence, and self-compassion.
