Collaborative, Compassionate, Counselling

My Approach

My approach is grounded in a humanistic and holistic way of working, where you are seen as the expert of your own experience. I’m interested in how you understand yourself, your relationships, and the world around you.

Working together, we can find ways for you to express thoughts and feelings in a way that feels true to you. This collaborative process allows us to explore what you’re facing, while also recognising and strengthening your inner resources.

Counselling can support you to process difficult emotions and experiences, including trauma, navigate life’s challenges and transitions, and develop greater self-awareness and clarity. It can also help improve communication, relationships, and your connection with yourself.

Whatever you choose to bring, I offer a warm, compassionate, and collaborative space where you can explore at your own pace.

I work in a relational and integrative way. Being integrative means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches—including person-centred, psychodynamic, gestalt, and creative methods—allowing me to adapt how I work to best support your individual needs.

Working relationally means I place importance on the therapeutic relationship we build together. I aim to offer a space where you feel safe, listened to, valued, and understood. I believe this relationship is at the heart of the work, providing a foundation of trust from which meaningful exploration and change can take place.

‘Lilly was a fantastic therapist. She helped me work through various issues at my own pace and provided me with tools so that I was capable of managing problems idependently. I would highly recommend.’ K – Client)
